Steve graduated from Western University with both a Bachelors of Science (2000) and thesis based Masters in Physiotherapy (2004). He completed his Advanced Diploma in Manipulative Therapy (FCAMPT) in 2010 and obtained his Sports Diploma with Sport Physiotherapy Canada in 2012. Steve is also certified in Integrated Dry Needling (2015).
Steve is currently the Lead, Performance Services Cycling based out of the Mattamy National Cycling Centre in Milton, ON. Prior to that, he was the Lead Therapist and East IST Lead for Rowing Canada (RCA). He was also part of the traveling team, attending numerous world championships, the 2015 Pan Am Games and 2016 Olympics. Steve spent almost 14 years with RCA acting as a strength coach and lead therapist where he saw teams win numerous World Championship medals and 8 Olympic medals. Steve has a strong passion and background in competitive sport, from athlete to coach to integrated support team member.
Steve is currently a lecturer in the Department of Physical Therapy at Western University where he instructs in musculoskeletal assessment and treatment, as well as sports physiotherapy.
