Ministers McMahon and MacCharles visit CSIO

CSIO would like to thank Minister McMahon and Minister MacCharles for visiting us today and their continued support of high performance sport in Ontario. The Ministers got a tour of CSIO’s world-class facility at Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre where they got to chat with athletes from various sports participating in a nutrition workshop, as well as athletes recovering in the hydrotherapy pools. Minister McMahon was also able to be on the TPASC pool deck with athletes and coaches from Swim Ontario and Synchro Swim Ontario during their training sessions. The visit capped off with an excellent discussion on the growth of high performance sport in Ontario and included Olympic Silver Medallist, and CSIO intern, Jason Burnett sharing his journey in sport. We look forward to welcoming the Ministers to CSIO again soon.
