Curt Harnett Appointed to Order of Canada

Congratulations to CSIO Board Member Curt Harnett on being appointed as a Member of the Order of Canada.

Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada, announced 125 new appointments to the Order of Canada on December 29, 2017. The new member list includes 4 Companions (C.C.), 35 Officers (O.C.) and 86 Members (C.M.). Recipients will be invited to accept their insignia at a ceremony to be held at a later date.

Curt Harnett is a three-time Olympic Medalist and four-time Olympian from the sport of cycling. The former world record holder is a sports marketing consultant and communications specialist who was the Chef de Mission for Team Canada at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada and the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
