9 London Olympians Headline Canadian Penn Relays Team

OTTAWA - Athletics Canada is pleased to officially announce today the team that will represent Canada in the USA versus the World portion of the 2013 Penn Relay Carnival in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania later this month. Penn Relay Carnival takes place at Franklin Field April 25 to 27 with more than 22,000 athletes from 60 countries participating in 450 races.

The Canadian 4x100 metre relay teams will travel to Philadelphia from Baton Rouge, Louisiana fresh off Athletics Canada’s annual spring relay camp.

2013 IAAF World Championships Qualifying

The Penn Relays provide a great opportunity to run qualifying times for this summers’ 2013 World Championships. A minimum of three countries must be on the start line to register qualifying performances towards Worlds. Minimum qualification times are as follows:
