Biography: 

Lauren completed her BSc. in Exercise and Movement Science at the University of Vermont. While completing her undergraduate degree at Vermont, Lauren was also a member of the varsity women’s basketball team. Lauren holds a MSc. in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. Her graduate research focused on the utilization and efficacy of recovery strategies following strenuous exercise and their impact on subsequent athletic performance. While completing her MSc., Lauren was a research assistant in a cardiovascular physiology laboratory, where research focused on high performance athletes, including team sport and ultra-endurance athletes. Lauren will be working as a strength and conditioning specialist and sport scientist with Canada Basketball.
