Kylie has 15 years of experience working with athletes and coaches in both the clinical and field setting as a physiotherapist. Prior to joining CSIO she was the Clinical Director of Trent Health In Motion Sport Medicine Clinic servicing high school and university aged athletes, as well as working with the National Trampoline Team both domestically and internationally. Kylie is currently the Paramedical Lead for Own the Podium’s National Sport Science and Medicine Advisory Committee where she is working to improve the collective disciplines of sport physiotherapy, sport massage therapy, athletic therapy and sport chiropractic in the Canadian Sport System.
In her role as Lead Physiotherapy, Kylie has worked closely with her sport medicine colleagues to shape CSIO’s Annual Performance Monitoring Program for both high performance able bodied and para-athletes. She has grown her team to include 4 physiotherapists (SPC Diploma level), 2 massage therapists (1 Sport Certified) and an athletic therapist working across 25 sports at the provincial and national level. Her team has implemented injury surveillance with many of their teams and is actively involved in load monitoring and performance enhancement.
