Biography: 

Judy is CSIO’s Mental Performance Consultant, and formerly it’s Director of Sport Science. As a Mental Performance Consultant, Judy works with National and Olympic Team members in Ontario including athletes from Wheelchair Basketball Canada, Skate Canada and Gymnastics Canada. Judy received her PhD in Sport Psychology from the University of Maryland and is a Certified Consultant by the Association of Applied Sport Psychology. She was the Mental Performance Lead for the National Sport Science and Sport Medicine Advisory Committee for Own the Podium. As an associate member of the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy she is also qualified in the area of family and marriage counseling.

Currently sitting on the Managing Council of Canadian Sport Psychology Association, Judy maintains a private consulting practice working with athletes from a wide variety of sports. She has written numerous articles and presented at national and international conferences.
