Biography: 

Christine St. Clair is a Registered Dietitian who received her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutritional Sciences from the University of Manitoba. As a former competitive athlete, Christine recognizes the daily challenges and pressures that her athletes encounter. She is passionate about combining her knowledge of food science and high performance sport to support her athletes and ultimately produce international podium performances.

Christine has over 7 years of experience providing nutrition support to Canada’s development and elite-level athletes. She joined the team at Canadian Sport Institute Ontario (CSIO) three years ago to dedicate her talents full-time to high performance sport, where she played an integral role in supporting Olympic and Paralympic athletes who competed in Rio at the 2016 Games. In her current role as a Sport Nutritionist with the CSIO, Christine is the national nutrition lead for both Women’s Basketball and Wheelchair Rugby, while continuing to provide sport nutrition leadership in the development programs for Figure Skating, Artistic Swimming, Sailing, Basketball, and Curling.
