Amy graduated from McMaster University completing her Masters in Rehabilitation Science in 2018. She obtained an Honours in Bachelor of Applied Health Science (Athletic Therapy) from Sheridan College in 2012. Upon graduation, she became a Certified Athletic Therapist in June 2012.
Since becoming certified, she has worked with a number of different sports teams, including the Mississauga Jr. Chiefs Girls Hockey team, Rugby Ontario junior programs, Carleton University Women’s Rugby team, and the Mississauga Blues Rugby Club as the Lead Athletic Therapist. Amy began her involvement with Rugby Canada in September 2015 with the U18 Women’s 15’s program. She has also gone on tour with the U20 & Senior Women’s Maple Leafs teams. In 2017, Amy became the Lead Athletic Therapist with the U18 Women’s 7’s program traveling and competing in Bahamas for the Youth Commonwealth Games, France for the U18 European Championships, and Vegas for the Youth Olympic Games Qualifier’s. She will be traveling with the team in October 2018 at the Youth Olympic Games. Amy is primarily working with the Rugby Canada NextGen program based out of CSIO.
